Living on the Orihuela Costa

A ribbon of coves, golden beaches and golf resorts — where beach life and the ease of a resort come together.

The coast

Sixteen kilometres of coves, beaches and seaside resorts

The Orihuela Costa is the sixteen-kilometre stretch of coastline of the municipality of Orihuela, on the Costa Blanca South. Unlike the historic city of Orihuela, which lies inland, the coast is a chain of modern seaside resorts and urbanisations: La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Villamartín, Punta Prima and Los Dolses.

What makes the Orihuela Costa special are its many Blue Flag coves and sandy beaches — from the wide Playa de La Zenia to the intimate rocky coves of Cabo Roig and the dune beaches of Campoamor. All along the coast lie small marinas, beach bars and promenades.

The area is also a golf and shopping destination: around Villamartín, Las Ramblas and Campoamor lie well-known golf courses, and the Zenia Boulevard is one of the largest shopping centres in the province of Alicante. Everything is close by, much of it reachable on foot or by bike.

With a large and varied choice, a big international community and a strong rental market, the Orihuela Costa is popular with second-home buyers and investors alike. At Tu Travesía we help you choose both the right property and the right urbanisation.

Why the Orihuela Costa

Why choose the Orihuela Costa?

The Orihuela Costa offers complete resort living: beautiful beaches and coves, golf, shops, restaurants and amenities within walking distance, all at a pleasant price. It is one of the most international corners of Spain, where you feel at home in many languages and where there is life all year round.

For investors, the combination of beaches, golf and the Zenia Boulevard is invaluable: demand for holiday and rental homes is high and constant. And thanks to the many urbanisations, there is a suitable place for every budget and lifestyle.

The coves & the golf

Blue Flag coves, golden beaches and renowned golf courses

The coastline of the Orihuela Costa alternates wide sandy beaches with intimate rocky coves. Playa de La Zenia, Cala Capitán, Cabo Roig, Playa Flamenca and the dune beaches of Campoamor are among the finest on the southern coast, many with the Blue Flag. Walking and cycling paths connect the coves along the shore.

Inland lie the golf courses of Villamartín, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, plus nearby Las Colinas — together one of Spain’s densest concentrations of golf. And with the Zenia Boulevard, one of the province’s largest shopping centres is a stone’s throw away. So the area combines beach, sport and convenience.

Property on the Orihuela Costa

From move-in-ready apartment by the beach to villa by the golf

The offer is large and varied. In urbanisations such as La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima and Los Dolses you will find apartments, bungalows and quads with shared pools; around Villamartín, Cabo Roig and Campoamor there are townhouses and villas, often with golf or sea views. New-build and resale alternate.

Thanks to the beaches, the golf and the Zenia Boulevard, rental demand is high — making the Orihuela Costa attractive both as a second home and as an investment. We would be glad to show you our current selection and help you choose the urbanisation that fits your plans.

We believe real estate is about people, not properties. The Orihuela Costa has dozens of urbanisations, each with its own character — close to the cove, by the golf or in the middle of lively La Zenia. The right choice makes the difference, and we know it from the inside.

Because we know the whole southern coast inside out, we guide you personally and in your own language — honestly, about what each urbanisation does and does not offer. That way we help you find not only the right property but also the right place.

What kind of properties can you find on the Orihuela Costa?

A broad range: apartments, bungalows and quads with shared pools in urbanisations such as La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Los Dolses, and townhouses and villas around Villamartín, Cabo Roig and Campoamor — often with golf or sea views. Both new-build and resale.
